- I agree with you. GM has a way of brand killing: Oldsmobile, Saturn, Saab, Pontiac to name a few. We have a Saab and really like the fact that it is so reliable. More reliable than the Chevy Blazer or the Ford Ranger or the Chrysler Sebring we have owned in the past....

- I bought a Sebring in 2000 and for the 24 months I owned it, it was in the shop 12 times for stupid random issues. I will never buy a Chrysler let alone an American made car again! I am sticking with Audi.

- The article didn't mention that in Texas the only way your 4 year old qualifies to go to Pre-K is if you are low income or your child doesn't speak English. I wonder if these percentages they are talking about include private Pre-K.

- I live here in Dallas and the local news reported that yes he did run a red light but he also had his flashers on (as he was driving) to show that it was an emergency. He never once said who he was and never tried to deny or get out of the ticket.

- Good luck! I have friends that did the homeschooling route. They actually joined a co-op of parents. That way their kids have many alternatives such as track and archery, much like public schools offer and are still exposed to their peers.
